Well, I picked up a car I have always admired - a 98 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro with the 30V V6. It was cheap, $13.5k CAD with 45k miles. Sport Package, Bose system with 6 CD changer, sunroof and winter package. Sweet.
It needs some work, the previous owner neglected it, but in its dirty current form, it sure is nice!
It has been in the shop for a week getting timing belt replaced, valve covers replaced, new discs and pads (slotted in front), new brake booster and various other things. I haven't been able to drive it since the day I bought it, but it sure is smooth, torquey and classy!
And the 5-speed Tiptronic is fun.
But overall, the SVT has way more soul...
