I really wish I knew how my old pulley got bent, but I have no idea. I guess it could've gotten hit by a rock or something, I doubt it failed on its own, but hey, anything is possible.

As far as I know, the pulley that was on the car was the pulley that Ford put on when the car was built. Since then it has had 9 years and 170,000 kms of abuse, and that may have had something to do with it, but it looked to be in good shape, just bent.
