E30 M3...Best car IMO.
Parts are still readly availble....I can order them right now if i want to. yes they are a littler pricy though...due to there limited numbers on the road.
EX: head gassket is 164.00$ and its just one..not a set.
they are by far the best handling cars BMw ever had. some minor suspension work you could have a track star for autocross or weekend track days.
they are by far the best looking M3 IMO as well.
Also, if you were lucky and had the cash...they mad a limiter number of European ones with race motors...300 hp and 300 torque. but the motor itself cost 30,000....
Theys cars love being reved hig and long (sounds bad).
thing is, i would get the M3 over the plain 320e or 325...these cars had problems with the Cam followers breaking if you like playing in the high reves...BMW never solved that problem...luckly M3 does not have that problem.
Great car, ou need to get it...i would if i could find one!!!
Lupe
3.0 SVT hybrid...all the fixens...Track/Race ready very soon!!!!!! 20,000 + miles

Damn you. Did any of you guys see the vid. of a E30 M3 racing the Supra? I think I mentioned it at the start of this post. If not, thats where the obsession came from. The vid. is at a drag strip so it's okay to post on CEG. If no one has seen it, I'll post the link later tonight when I get home.

Not if you can manage a 9's 1/4 mile w/ a 212mph trap.

Never even heard of those. Are they more rare? Are they more expensive? If you answer both with "yes", then they can be my obsession next week.

Beautiful car. I might stick with the E30's though to obsess over for now. With working a rediculous amount this week, we'll see if I do something stupid like buy a car. (I won't)
