hector959 Member H Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 33 scotland	I am sorry for any misinformation it was not intended. It is obvious there are many more model variants in the US. The UK had two V6 engines the 205 HP ST200 and the 170 hp that went in every other V6 inc mine

This came up for me because all salvage yards split their SVT engines based on this build date. I've found an engine at a good price, but it's from a "before" build date which concerns me, particularly since my car (98 Mystique) is from an "after" build date. Note that there is no such build date division for non-SVT engines. Hmmm. Eric
