Just got to launch it right.

Here is the trick,

You rev it and still hold in the clutch, when u see boost u slowly let it out and at the same time press in the gas. Than the thing just takes off.
Its more of a road course car, but check out Nasioc.com they have timeslips in 11 second range on daily drivers.

Bigest thing is trans, that is whay I am gettin those RA gears over the winter.

The STI 6 spd is indestructable tho, I heard guys puting down 550 AWHP!

Hmm....everyone always talks about the launch, but from the facts that its a 2L Turbo i would think that its the top end where all the power would be...hmmm so from what i hear its like a bullet, quick off the line and starts to suffer up top. What kind of power would it take for the top end to shine as well...or is that just a pipe dream. I'll check out that website as well.....

I hate the 04s. They got rid of the "trademark" fog lamps.... Nice car though. How is it more of a road race car? Don't they clock in at like .87g and 67mph in the slaloms?....Bench racing says most of the cars in it's price range can out run it in the twisties....Still jealous though.

It all depends on the turbo, and the tuning.

ALso the JDM head seem to be the best as far as flow.

You can get a drag turbo, midrange turbo whatever.

I hit 16 lb of boost around 3-4k and it goes up to 16.5 @ redline on stock turbo. With td04 I should be able to run 19lb all day long with quick spool time (close to stock) I sgould be puting down around 300 AWHP then, with the proper tunning (Custom map by COBB)

I wouldn't say that the power dies out,you just feel more af a hit when u launch it at full boost( obviously you are sending 230 hp to the wheels when berley rolling ) THe car grips very nicely, and I love when it rains now! DRIFTIN TIME

Maybe if you showed up with something bad, but you can't go wrong with a WRX.

I love these cars. I agree with what was mentioned before. I like the older wrx's better.

I think you should look into different rims. The black wheels don't match at all in my opinion. I personally hate black wheels since they look like steelies at first glance from a distance. Also, the spoiler situation, which you mentioned you were on top of already. Overall though, awsome car. Keep it up.
