i was under the imprssion that the Mustang GT (newer models....) topped out a lot earlier than that....I was told 125. This coming from someone who OWNS a Mustang GT. I believe its a 2001 model with tons of mods.
But anyway - I am not sure of the exact number (either 115 or 125mph) but i know it's not 145.
Again, this is for the newer GT's as I dont know about the older generation GT's.

Yes Hugo part of that statment is true.
you see if you purchase the GT with the 16" wheels then they dont come with z rated rubber and the Computer has a 125MPH cut off.in which is the case with mine.but the other models with the 17's will reach speeds of over 150!
i'm having a chip burnt for my car since i do have a list of mods and the chip will rid me of this problem.there was nothing worst then trying to Dyno the car and have it shut down @5300 in forth while on the rollers!
