Mondeo, The price you paid for them would probably indicate which ones you have. From what I've seen, the 194604's are about twice as expensive as the 94604's. Thanks for the replies.

As far as I can tell , I do have the 94604's . I don't remember seeing the extra "1" in front . IIRC , they were about $40 when I got 'em . I wasn't even aware that there were two types when I bought them . If I had to choose from the wide or the thin ones at the time , I still would've gotten the ones I did .

Wa2tuff, are you telling me that the regular p.n. 94604 goes in the channel? If so, then I dont mind the tape as much. Especially if they don't stick out from the side of the car more than 1" or 2".
Sorry for the late reply. I don't know what the number is but they only stick out about an inch. The tape goes inside the window channel. Clean the side of the channel where you stick the tape with the alcohol pads they give you. Then it'll stick and the window holds it in while the adhesive cures. If you haven't got them yet, do it. You will be pleased with the results.

Does anyone have these ventshades on their silver frost SVT and have a pic of them that I can see. Also has anyone tried painting them to match the paint of the car.
Thanks In Advance.

My bodyshop wouldn't do it but he also wouldn't do my chrome grille ring. I found someone else to do the ring and it came out fine. First one wouldn't do it because they are flexible and it would crack. As long as you don't push on them to close the door, you should be all right. Course now they're installed and I'll wait until the whole car gets painted. I've seen them painted (don't remember where) and they looked good.
