I had a 96 neon and yes I am now very good at OBDII diagnostics (aka the electrician part). Mine broke things like axles and trannys and of coarse I blew up my SOHC motor installed a DOHC blew it up and rebuilt it. Of coarse all of this stuff blew up with my turbo setup (the first one I ever built or tuned). The problem with most chrysler stuff is not the engineering but the materials used to make the engineered parts. Just cheap stuff, although I would love to have a cummins. The minivans are excellent for the price, but I would avoid their cars, I have seen several 2000 intrepids with bad motors at auctions.
