You need cams to get good lower rpm tuning power (yea that sounds wierd doesnt it) Larger cams make the runner length shorter for the same rpm. So for your stock cams it probably takes 10-13 inches of runner length for 7000 rpm bump where as with the big cams you get the same bump with 6-8 inches of runner With the zx2 weve fit 8 inch runners before. So thats not nearly as bad. With the contours being made for v6 we might be able to go more. 9-10 inches are not completely impossible So we shall see.
