Hey

Lets remember that there are no stupid questions (yeah right)! I may catch Hell for this because it may have already been answered but I can't find a straight answer using search.

I have a Zetec Contour and I want more power. As I'm sure most of you with the 2.0 do! Rather than add mod after mod and still being unsatisfied, or a Turbo I thought of going all of the way and upgrading to the 3.0 Duratec. What would be involved for such a conversion?

$ Cost?? $

If anyone knows a good mechanic in the Lehigh valley area in PA or anywhere within an hour drive that you would trust doing this type of conversion, that would be helpful too.

Any answers would be helpful...even sarcastic ones confused confused

Thanks

Cost would be insanely stupid (not the question mind you)

Figure a donor V6 car (so you can get engine, fuel injection, computer, wiring harnesses, motor mounts and body mounts, cooling lines, accessories)

Ok I'll stop there. Before I get to the expensive part...

Turbo it and fly...

Also look into the Focus aftermarket!

thanks for the tips... I guess I'm just partial to the sound and feel of the V6's - Turbo is the way to go I guess!!!

Thanks a million!
