Exactly, thats been the concensous around here. The houseing is still 60mm, but because you remove half of the shaft on that thing and the screws, its been assumed you gain the equivelant of about 3mm diameter.
Bottom line, optimized will flow even better than an unoptimized 60mm TB. Better flow = more power.
