fwiw, I hear that Mistegrym/WorldTour's sc'ed contour laps Gingerman faster than most modular cobras (and he isn't even anything spectacular as far as driving goes)
It's all about balance.

My friend who is used to torquey GM engines drove my car and got wasted three lights in a row by a N/A Regal, that is a ~200hp ~205tq Regal (not the 240 hp S/Ced GS model). Anyway, they had a full car load of 50+ who were each heavier than everyone in my car. Basically had I been driving it, I know I'd have hda no problem. But when she drove it, she was fully in gear at 5 mph and 1200 RPMs (or whatever matches up with 5 mph, basically, very low!). You don't do that in an SVT. You got an S/C you rip it up! Isn't that why a clutch has travel, so you can grind clutch pad? (Basically, S/C would be nice.)

Not to toot my own horn here, but my lap times at Gingerman are about 3 seconds off of there Stock Viper GTSes that were lapping at Viper days last year and a little quicker then the Ferrari Testorossas(SP?) that were there for the Ferrari Challenge.
By adding the SC I have went to running with Civic Si's competively to hunting down cars ten times as expensive as my own on the road course. That leaves a pretty good feeling when leaving the track knowing that you are able to run on par with the exotics.... but why am I telling you this because the SC is pointless  -mark

Mark, My buddy showed your thread over at the GTP Board. You are representing us very well! Are you still running the stock headers. If you are, I can't imagine what you will do with aftermarket headers.

I cant drive? Thats why I can grab a 15.1 on my SVT w/Filter everytime I hit a track, while most you of you morons grab a 15.4 or higher with over $1,000 of mods. For those of you who know me, you know my GOkart was a "Mistake", so in November if you would like a FAST stock GOkart, give me a ring, ill sell it to you for next to nothing. Ill put a GODDAMN! $1.50 of my opinoin if I feel like it! *pops in a Prozac* YEA! Im sorry im playing Devils advocate on this, but some of your posts on this board seem to amaze me. So with a warm smilie ill shake your hand, just because we drive the same car.
