Make sure you have a new pcv valve, new fuel filter, new air filter, clean EGR valve (if you have one), new spark plugs, good wires, and clean the MAF. If you have a CEL make sure to get the code pulled and come back to us. Also make sure you use a good oil filter, motorcraft, pure one, k&n, or mobil1.




Hmm, It was covered after this post that you misread, I do the change every 3k miles, which, for me, works out to be every 3 weeks. I generally use a Purolator filter, and Castrol GTX High Mileage. So, I should spring for a better filter. Gotcha. Thanks ;]
