For the troubleshooting experts, here is a thorough description of my non start hot condition:
-cold start - no problem
-hot start, a few minutes after shutting off - no problem
-hot start, 15-30 minutes after shutting off, on hot day - big problems. engine cranks,very fast but does not catch (a wiff of ether is all it takes to get it started (yeah, I know its no good for the engine...)
-cold start, if its really hot outside. problems. same as above.
-This might be my imagination, but it seems to have more problems with nose up (on an incline) than with nose down. Beats me....
So far, I replaced the camshaft position sensor, with no luck. Tried to replace the crankshaft position sensor today, but failed. Seems its on with 200 ft-pds of torque. Anyway, since i unplugged and re-plugged the connector for the cps, I did not get the condition (3 hot starts). maybe it was just an oxidised connector...
