The 9800SE in the link above is, and no offence to the poster, a rather crappy card. It has a 128bit memory bus and doom3 really benefits from a 256bit bus. I would recommend getting a 256bit 9800 pro with either 128MB or 256MB of ram. I picked up a 256MB 9800 pro off newegg and flashed the 9800XT bios to the card and it is fully recognized as a 9800XT, even enables the temp probe and OVERDRIVE functionality. That said I am getting about 50FPS average with a P4 2.2Ghz, 512MB of PC2700 and the 4.9beta drivers at 1024x768 high quality. I would also watch newegg's refurbished cards, a have picked up a few and they have all been fine and you can get some amazing deals.
