When my dad was stationed at Camp Zama, Japan, (89 - 91) we took a couple MAC hops over to Osan for shopping. I remember a little software shop there. $5 per floppy disk (5.25" low density of course

) with any software you wanted.. We threw those out a few years ago, finally. Found Windows 2.0 in one of the boxes

When we flew back in to Yakota, we got our bags checked by customs. The SP told us we really shouldn't have the disks, but he bought em too so he let it slide.
We stayed at the same little motel each time, and after the second visit the owners gave us these little brass geese each time we stayed there. Found those when I was helping mom clean the garage the other day. Think mom still has the eel skin shoes she had custom made there. I still have a baseball mitt I bought there.
I remember watching U-2's take off from the airfield. Took a trip up to the DMZ once - scariest place I've ever been. Good memories
