I'd assume they would let you BBQ. The closest places to eat would be in downtown Birmingham. The closest fast food would be Burger King about 1/2 mile south of 14 mile. After that it would be McDonalds, which is south of 13 mile, so thats not even worth it. If you're going to want to eat or drink, pack a cooler with whatever you will want. If you really need to buy food, Somerset mall is 2 miles to the east on 16 mile. The only place really worth considering is Jets pizza. It's just off 15 mile about a mile east of Woodward on a street called Eaton. To get to it, take 15 mile east from Woodward and turn left onto Eaton right after you go under the bridge. Jets will be on your left.
