I rode with Terry Haines yesterday while testing my car with an upgrade tranny and I almost $hit on my pants Terry is insane, He drive like a Formula 1 driver. I have never take my car to its limit and yesterday Terry did. We're doing like 90 on his testing road “ as he called it” All I have to say is next time you have a chance let Terry drive you car and you will know what I'm talking about. Now my theme is “If Terry can brake it no one can”.

Talking about the Tranny upgrade Terry did a terrific job. I was his first customer on the new shop. He installed a Quaife diff, Fidanza Flywheel, and Clutch master stage 3 clutch and a fully revised MTX 75 Tranny. The car now run better than new, power to the wheel is so different and well balace, RPM revs are quicker than a thunder.

About Terry job is above all my expectations. His customer service and quality is # 1. He emailed me and called me every day with the details updates of the process. If you are thinking of doing any serious mods to you car Terry Haines (Haines Motor Sports Inc) is the BEST.

What all did he do to the tranny internals?

he check avery little detail on that tranny make sure everything was on perfect fit and condition I was doing the gear upgrade but it is way too expensive 900 to 1000 buck per gear you do the math. He is working to find a better price for reenforce gear and N/A at this moment.

What was the cost of the installation of all of that? The only thing stopping me from getting a Quaife right now is the installation cost, as I've already replaced my clutch (and am kicking myself now for not getting it at the time). Thanks.

all I know is the FR200 has harden gears in it so I'm going to see when they come out with it

like I say the part the keepme from putting new gear was the damm cost 900 to 1000 buck per gear about the fr200 is the same price Ihave talk to Leo Capaldi who runs a 2000 cougar at the speed vision world challenge and his tranny was build the same as the FR200 at the same place and that was the cost per gear

(sorry about the test drive, but it has to be 'right').The key to a good trans is care on the strip and rebuild,as to the mods,I have three things I do to components within the tranny to improve shift,but alais if I told you all I wouldn't be the guy for MTX's would I !!!

Do we have to send you our tranny and you send it back fixed/upgraded or do you do a swap? How much is this upgrade? I have 3rd gear synchro that is getting worse.
