I think he had some [censored]-ass ideas, but others voted them into law so, if I had any 'beef', it'd be with them. His successor (his LtGov) has better ideas -- but they tend to be a bit... unattainable.
My only criticism (that could be directly attributed to him) is that, to me, he isn't very good at that figurehead role -- and that's about all the Governeor of Texas does.
