I was reading up on the SVT intake manifold and how the basically sped up the erosion process to smooth it out, so for us non-svt guys, anyway to emulate this process or get something more from the stock manifold, I am working on getting ahold of a SVT TB now, so that will help. Just wondering.. Brad I know your all seeing eyes are reading this..any ideas?

I modded my upper intake EGR passages to be more like the SVT and also added some flow improvements. The SVT has 2 EGR ports behind the TB, where the stock intake has 3, so I epoxy-filled the center port. I also smoothed the intake passage by carefully removing the 3 aluminum humps just behind each EGR port. A noticable improvement in the upper RPMs. Increasing the TB flow has made an even bigger improvement.

Golfballs... The little bumps in it increase distance because air flows around it better. How the hell would I manage that.....

LOL, Terry is the man! Terry, one of these days I will pick up a spare intake to play with. Maybe make it smile  (you know, dimples? :D) and do some fab work to make it look a bit more like the one in some of your old photos.

Yeah how much... Brad where did you get all these extra parts from? I search all the time at junkyards and on the net looking for SVT's and V6's and they are few and far between..
