I haven't seen anyone with that, but Dean joyce might have done that. not sure though

He's a guy here on CEG, he does a bunch of custom work on his car. He has a site that shows his car. deanjoyce.com he has a green Mystique

I saw something on Ebay under the "Ford Contour" and what was listed is some install instructions how to do the flip trunk mod.
