I've always wanted to go to a sea level track in october or so when the humidity is down and the air temp is cooler at night. I wonder if the higher atmospheric pressure at sea level would get me into the 14s. I suppose it might on a cool evening.
For those that do not know, Atlanta Dragway is located high on the Georgia Piedmont, just south of the foothills of the Georgian Appalachains. Relatively high altitude. The air temp during my last run was approx 80 degrees with humidity near 90%...it had rained earlier in the afternoon, and the clouds were threatening all night. Hopefully I can continue to improve my skill and can post a lower time in the fall when temps and humidity are lower.
