I made this post in the Auto-X forum, but you might appreciate information. A Subie weighs 200 lbs less than a SVT w/o sunroof and has a 7" shorter wheelbase. This helps greatly in transitional response and braking. The torque between the 2 cars is a wash I think. The allwheel drive w/limited slip helps coming out of every corner over the SVT's one wheel drive. The weight and wheelbase dimensions were taken at a divisional auto-x this weekend.
