Umm... That's news to me. I know of someone experimenting with a turbo on a Duratec, and has also lost a main bearing, but it was not because of the turbo. It was because of the UDP wasn't doing a good enough job as a harmonic balancer.

You just need to keep the bearings oiled and use a proper harmonic balancer. They should be fine.
