Thank for the useful details but what year is your car and what year of part did you get? I searched car-parts.com it seems there is diferen ID(?)from 98 and up.
95v6
Sorry Axeman.
I have a 95.
I went directly to the salvage yard to get it. Most places remove them from cars and resell them directly. I don't know (and I doubt) if there's a difference in the fans between model years. However, I do have two "resistors" on my fan units. Part of an earlier Ford recall. You may have them as well.
I would go call a salvage yard and see if they have one. It might be a lot faster than ordering online.
Since the unit is seized. You'll have to remove it anyway. If you can get it out and take it with you to visually compare, that'll go a long way towards getting the right one.
I have no idea what year mine came out of, but they work
Good luck
PM me with ?'s if you have any.
