They should be able to replace the engine harness. You'll have to resplice everything it sounds. Wouldn't want them to do it anyway. Guess you'll have to call a glass place even though Ford can do it with OEM glass.

Yeah, I NEED someone competant to fix my car. You'd think I asked them to do a V8 RWD conversion or something. All it needs is a new rear window, new engine harness from the connector to the fuse box and some other wires under the trunk replaced.
The exhaust, turbo timer, shift light and stereo etc. I can take care of.
I just need the [censored] to fix the harness!
I feel nauseous thinking about all of this.

I wouldn't expect that kind of activity on Green Street....although, it is on the East side of town. Are there any video security cameras there? Or even anywhere in there area that maybe would have caught something. Even if they were down the street you might be able to identify the make of a vehicle or even some clue that might help out.

Sucks to here Stazi, but to be honest I bet your going to have a hard time finding a dealer to mess with the harness. To be realy honest I don't blame them. When I was a tech at a dealer,I wouldn't have touched it, niether would have anyone else. Just cause the turbo and all the other stuff wired, it would be a pain in the ass having to work around that turdbo and any potential issues that could arouse. Something always does, and I mean always.

OK, so now I am taking the car to Gentiles in Shelby Twp. Yep, 60 miles away so it can be fixed by someone who knows the ass from a hole in the ground.
The harness will either be respliced back together again or replaced. If it is respliced it might be easier. I would do it myself but I'm not authorsied under State Farm's eyes, to do so.

Stazi that sucks.
1 question I have is, why did they cut up the engine wiring harness? Did they take something from the engine bay?
Good luck with the repairs!
Even up here State Farm sucks!!! Expensive as hell and limited payout on claims.
A buddy of mine used to write for them , but he would never sell me a policy...

My thought is that they cut through the harnes (after they ripped out every fuse and relay form the fuse baox) because they wanted to kill the PATS light which they probably thought was an alarm.
Nothing from the engine bay was taken.
