Compare the two. You see how the flat tin bar that bends up and connects to the rail... Now in the first pic, it broke off on the other side, and in this picture, you can see it's cracked. Hence the squeak AND excessive left/right movement

I used to commute with this friend of mine to work every day and he weighed at least 350pounds. I wounder if that could cause enough stress to crack it.
