I had a spec stage 3 and a quaife, really bad wheelhop also, and I boke an axle at the track, I was pretty pissed. The axles are not expensive though, I think it was like $120 for a brand new one.
The next time at the track I cacked my y-pipe and it sheered comopletely in half..that was about the end of my racing with the contour.
If someone had found a good solution for wheelhop, I maybe would have kept the car!
