I would love to see some documented "Whining" by Nomar. That is complete [censored]. another thing created by the media to sell papers and the average idiot throws like a girl and knows nothing about baseball buys into it. The guy has given it his all year in and year out and while he has had some injury issues the guy has always performed. Are we gonna rip him for only hitting .307 because he hit .350 in the past and is a lifetime .320 hitter? Give me a break. People talk like nomar is a horrible defensive shortstop. does he make some errors, yes. Does he make more plays than most SS's Absolutely. It's called range factor boys. Manny is the premier offensive player of this generation and one the best of all time and he is still a GOOD defensive outfielder. I'm not saying he is great, but he is solid. People mistake making something look easy for being lazy . It's a 162 game season. When you hit .325 40 130 year in and year out you have earned the right to jog out a popup in the infield. Bottom line is manny's so called loafing and Nomar's "whining" have not been the cause of this team losing. Poor personnel decisions and hiring of bad in game managers are doing this team in.
