what a weird game today, wakefeild giving up 6 home runs and still gettin the win!! oh-well, atleast we won, thats all what matters!!

Nomar whined, privately. And his blackout with the media says it all. He could stand the increased pressure of the Boston media. Sure they are on them all the time, but thats what its like to play here. This is a place like no other, where baseball fans lament over the players' performance. And it shows in the media. Fact is, thats what its like in Boston. If you don't like it, get out. Bill Simmons was right. He blamed Nomar for not asking to be traded. If he didn't want to be here, he could have done both us and himself a favor by shopping him around before the season started. And before you say he wanted to stay in Boston, read the part about his manager saying they wouldn't except anything less than 16 mil a year, which they knew the Sox wouldn't go for.

I was on the Nomar bus right up until the Yankee game where he sat out. That was the last straw for me. I wish him well, whereever he ends up after this season.
