i just can't friggin stand it when Manny hits the ball and watches it before heading for first base. even if the fokking thing is CLOSE to being FOUL, RUN, YOU BASTID! so frustrating. i like Cabrera. nice having a Venezuelan on the team again.

Yeah, but did you see where the ball was in the field when he was being sent home? There is NO WAY he should have been sent home on that play. Looked like Wendell Kim out there again!
Actually, it was a good time to send him. We had a lead, there are 2 outs, and you run the risk of a bad throw to the plate. Turned out to be a pretty close play, so I don't disagree with him being sent home. However, I don't think you can use use that as part of your argument against Manny. He was running about as hard as he can on that play, and that's still faster than Ortiz or Millar.

I swear that hair and beard are his power. Take them away and he'll have nothing.
I like johnny becasue from what I can tell he just goes out and gives it his all when he plays unlike some other players.
Nevermind the drama that follows the 'celebrity' players with their egos. I don't go for that.
I'm all for athletes embracing the spotlight when its shined on them. But when they let it get in the way of their game, there's no room for that crap in any sport.
