Time crunch. I had originally ordered the Focus smart pump, but my mechanic refused to make any alterations. The stealership had a Contour pump in stock and I needed my car back ASAP, so I bent over.




I understand your time crunch, but a lot here are advising replacement of the entire unit or switching to the Focus smart pump and while many have prefaced those comments with statements regarding the Focus smart pump being a good replacement for going F/I, normally aspirated folks will do just fine by replacing the fuel sending unit and not the entire unit or spending a few bucks more on the Focus smart pump.

Nice run on sentence, eh? Drugs are GOOOOD.
