Also look at the FAQ section. The returnless fuel system had a problem with a pre filter screen that was too fine. The FAQ tell how to remove the pump without droping the fuel tank. One of the photo's near the end of the page shows the offending filter screen. For many, it has been enough to just remove the screen and throw it away. There is another sock style filter screen on the pump pick up line so the screen on the bottom one isn't really needed and it causes a lot of problems.
