Oh, heres a quick one for you. BAT says they are nearing completion of a trick electric water pump for us that fits in the radiator hose (a common trick in Europe he said). Supplies cooling flow based on heat demand not RPM which is real nice (think about when you have been running hard then come to idle). And it gets rid of the stock pump, driven of a belt from the forward camshaft - reduced parasitic drag and he estimates 5-7HP gain. And say goodbye to that POS plastic impeller!

These type of dampers work on a specific range of harmonics Dan, much like the fluid dampers do. The stock balancer is spun and subjected to a harmonic range to make sure their product can work within the stock balancer's specs. Then the prototypes are made and spun again while being subjected to the same range. Most likely, our balancers will be made from a basic set of parameters with only the pulley diameter and crank snout size being the difference between ours and other models.

Tell you the honest truth Dan, I'm not a camper expert, but I like the benefits. Let's just see what the experts say. I've already considered that sinario you've just mentioned, so I to want to make sure this is done right, that's why I plan on communicating with them on a regular basis to get as much info as possible, and I'm sure that there extensive experience in the damper business will pay off for us apparently unlucky performance group, if you know what I mean....Aloha
