I've been toying around with this idea for some time...
The manager of a local "restyling shop" (Roman Chariot) informs me that he personally knows of "a guy" who's very good with fiberglass and sheet metal that would have no problem cutting in some hood scoops with no extra material needed...
So I'm going to take these pictures to these two people (someday, perhaps once everything else with the car is all said and done) and see what happens..
I asked the forums for opinions once before and I got some (mostly) positive replies.

The hood scoops should look something similar, since I'm going to try to get a close match to the SVT lower front bumper grille as inserts for the scoops.

I imagine it's going to look pretty good with the Mystique's waterfall-style grille.
But that's just my imagination talking. Hopefully the real thing isn't disappointing..
One periphery question...
With these hood scoops... should I expect to see lower running engine temperatures? That is, will "highway air" blowing over the exterior of the engine do much of anything to cool it?
.RMk.., perpetually curious; "I can't help it!"
