Still sucks, but that's the way our government has been for a long time, its not going to change over night.




Not just that, but it GETTING WORSE.

White House did the same predictions LAST year. It's nothing but budget SPIN to the extreme to claim that because the figure was less than White House projected that this supposedly means economy or budget figures are improving.

1. We were fighting wars in previous years with LESS deficit.

2. We have already EXCEEDED the deficit of last year, and it's still got another 3 months to grow.


Again, I can't possibly believe that doing better than original White House budget projection figure is Good. The projection was highest monetary deficit EVER conceived! OF COURSE WE ARE DOING BETTER THAN THAT!! Even though our deficit for this year is STILL the highest deficit in $ wise ever, and highest in % of GNP since the height of the Cold War under Reagan's administration.
