Does it really affect you on the daily basis? Only two things have affected me so far while Bush has presided, one being atronomical gas prices, and the other being a terrorist attack on our country. Otherwise, I notice no difference. Do you? I am not being an [censored], I really want to know if their are other differences I don't notice. And, oh yeah, a rebate check once a year, although being a new homeowner in November, I have yet to receive one.

Yeah the govt. is sending ot rebate checks - you numbnuts!  Maybe if you compared this last years tax return wrt the year before you'll notice a BIGGER return. I too am a homeownwer and I work a regular job, and I was ECSTATIC when I got an extra $2000 back compared to the year before.
