Headlong or Everlong? If you mean Everlong, then I've heard that version and it ROQS.

My bad, you are correct, however the version I am refering to is different. The version you are hearing is ontheir upcomming album. The version I refer to was an in studio recording, that is somewhat different and has soo much more impact.

Speaking of NIN, Johnny Cash's "Hurt" is so powerfull knowing what he's been through and how close it released to his death.

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Actually, you may be right...the version I heard WAS an in-studio recording, but I think it was w/ Howard Stern, so its probably not the same version.

All right, the closest I've seen to decent music in this thread is "More than Words" (hardly Extreme's best) and that's pretty sad!

Fates Warning--Still Remains: About the death of guitarist Jim Matheos' father. Powerful stuff...
Iced Earth--Watching Over Me
Faster Pussycat--House of Pain: C'mon, some of you older kids must remember this one. Great video, too.
Metal Church--Little Boy
Ark--Missing You
Dream Theater--The entire SFAM album, but especially "Finally Free" where you find out what really happened, and Julian and Victoria die in each others' arms. (sniff )
Threshold--Angels: How could I almost forget this? It's from a concept album about a guy who's genetically engineered to be superintelligent (among other things) and this track is about how as a young adult, his mother has shied away from him and won't talk to him anymore.
