You guys need to talk Y2K (Mark) into putting that Venom kit on his car. I think even a 50 shot would get that car in the 13's. Has anyone on the contour board had a bad experience with nitrous yet?

He's got sand down yonder and won't. And, I don't believe anyone one this board has gone boom from the juice as of yet. My engine failure wasn't N2O related. Next one might be though. Great times. Even better launches!!! Excellent job man! You can see how well the quick launches improved your times. Yes only a little over half a second behind me but you had better 60' times. I'll get back to the track and bring my Nittos next time. (not as good as BFG's but I got a "couple pass" set on E0's for $125.) Also I'll make sure to PRACTICE before I go next time. I agree the Falkien tire give you a grip advantage. They really are sticky tires. Very good at their intended purpose! I had even been thinking about them (when I bought my tires a while back) but the fast wear scared me away at the time. I mean my KDW's didn't even make 30k. I know folks with Falkiens that think getting 20k is very good. Most don't get near that with any significant amount of autocrossing. My normal driving is nearly like autocrossing.

A compliment from Greg... I can die a happy man! hahaa.. Thanks for the congrats everyone. And I love these tires. I have an extra set in my basement for when these finally need replaced.. My KDW's lasted 22k, the crappy Khumo Ecsta Sports or whatever they were lasted 25k, so I tried the Falken's put a hole in a tire so bought a new set which Ive had for about 20k+ and still have about 40% or more left.. And Id be willing to be my car sees as much abuse as yours Greg.. Anyhow, thanks again..

I am running a 90hp shot zex dry kit with a custom tuned 4 bank chip from super chips with -6 degrees timing I am thinking of going to my 125 shot for the last visit to the drag strip for the year(would love to break into low 13's) If I blow it oh well 3.0L here I come! Found a 3.0L for $500 with 45K on it. As far as tires I am running 225/50/15's Toyo Proxes T1S, and I pulled off a few 2.1's as well.
I have been running my car hard for 2 years with nitrous and NO problems at all!
