dude take it easy, they arent laughing at you. for the prices used 'contiques are going for, it is indeed easier and most likely much more cost efficient to just buy a new one. they just thought it was funny to answer the question quickly and bluntly instead of the long drawn out answer like this one. cant say i blame them, cause this question is asked every other day and they are the ones who always answer it.

The only place i know of that creates a turbo for the Zetec is from Demon Dynamics...but there located in Europe and NO ONE has ever purchased one form the states that i know of. Or atleast that posts here on the boards...Good luck trying to find one.

Honestly though, the others are right here....ATX probably would not handle the power of a turbo.
And for the price of a swap, you could buy a 'Tour with a MTX.

but you can always get a SC instead.
Assuming you "swapped the tranny" (OMG I'm still LMAO ) you can get a very nice and flat torque curve about 190 wFt-Lb and about 200 wHp from what I saw. these particular numbers won't come cheap...
you are better off heading to focaljet. those guys talk zetec...
