The photo does not show that the front end is actually quite long. The car is kinda distorted a small bit in the pic. I saw that exact model at the Birmingham motor show this year. The actual model pictured is the new Titianium model, with the 3L v6 from the st220, but putting out 205hp instead of 220. (same cams as the escape?)
The ST TDCi model is the excatly the same as the st220 visually, except for the lack of twin exhausts. Same 18" fin alloys and bodykit.
The Mondy is much bigger than the jetta, or bora as they are called in Europe. When you see the car in the metal, it really doesnt look like a jetta (phew) at all.
On holiday in Spain one of my mates mistook a new mondy in black for an Audi A6....Thats not so bad?
Great looking/driving cars like the Mondeo shouldn't be in the United States. I would much rather drive a heavily discounted rental car. Make my Taurus silver with grey cloth... throw a spoiler on it to make it sporty.
