Perhaps Terry could chime in here, but I remember hearing that about 60% of an engine's heat is already transfered to the oil, thus the engine oil is already cooling the engine. Could be wrong ... wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last, but I distinctly remember hearing this somewhere.
