Looks very nice! It does have a roll cage, look at the back seat. Too bad it isn't a big block, I mean 389 today is pretty big, but I love the Chevy 427's. It's very clean, I'd hit it!

For a road racer, big blocks are out because of the already nose heavy design of the Gen I F-bodies. The extra weight of the turbos, piping, etc. is offset by using an aluminum small block, to save some weight off of the nose. Not to mention the almost perfect rod/bore/stroke ratios of building such a high revving monster mouse 389. With that bore and a longer stroke (that could have easily been handled by the aftermarket aluminum block), he could have had a 427-454 cu in small block stroker. The power band and longevity of such an engine wouldn't be as good as with a better rod/stroke ratio 389. There's nothing like the sound of a Chevy V8 revving past 6-7 grand and still making good power either.

http://www.allpar.com/model/challenger.html Look here, this gives the history and pics of the Challenger... I'm not sayin that I don't like that car cause my dad's friend has one that looks like it and im not sayin i don't like old chevy's cause my dad's got a '66 Chevelle, but if I had the choice of the two cars I listed previously I would definitely pick them over the camaro!!!
