Congrats! Hey, do the London peeps get together often? As for me, graduated in April, and hope to stay happily unemployed for the foreseeable future

Getting out of debt was a really sweet feeling. The SVT is paid off, the student loans are gone, my credit card is only used when necessary..... ...but then I up and bought a house, and am in the process of inheriting my Dad's place. I think I have a stronger personal relationship with my local Home Depot cashier than with my girlfriend!

It's important to be doing the type of work that you enjoy. And by posting this it seems like you enjoy the work you've found.

CDI eh? I was there when it was still called "Control Data Institute", located at 300 Leo-Pariseau street in MTL at that time... It's been a looooong time! Never found a job in my field of work (programming), it seems that at that time, CDI was not well-seen by employers. I hope it got better - it should have! (Could not really get worse!)
I can't say that I regret it though, I've been programming for fun since then, and it helped immensely for my current line of work - I work with a very large system of Quantel video servers.

I'm pretty sure it's not better now, i swear this place sucks they give you books made by CDI college not the real thing ( like books made for/and ie MIcrosoft, Novell, Mandrake) the computers are old P3's even P2's and they say that we are learning high end technology , the bug in this is i'm suppose to be learning this and i have not worked on any rack servers yet, just simple computers that i installed win2k server on it. It's a self study course too so...no teacher, well there is but not in the traditionnal way, if you get stuck somewhere or/and you don't understand then you could ask the "tutor" wtf??? and that's if he's not busy or have alot of students with questions, and that's when you get a "tutor" that know's what the hell he's talking about
I get all this for $18 000 it was $14900 but a few things happened and i'm taking more time to do the course.
I don't recommend this school at all, i have $16 000 in student loans it will take me 10 years at around $250/month to pay this off, and the only job ( that's according to the employment service director) i could get out of school is help desk at $10/hrs, when i signed the contract they told me that i would make atlest $30 000/year
And to think that i went back to construction part time right now just to make end meets and i'll probably continue in that line of work after i graduate because i went back to school to make a GOOD living not $10/hrs
