Yesterday during my only trip down the track.
I was door to door with a 2001 Mustang for 1000 feet. Only at the top end did he start to pull away (when I quick shifted to 4th (6400), he pulled away noticably) Gave him a good scare. Next time though...

One pass, no practice, banged the rev limiter in 1st & 2nd.
I also ran with the secondaries pinned open. (I have a bad IMRC - see other posts) So I used the high rpm slip launch... (4500-5000rpm clutch slip - It ROCKS!)
Like they said. Best fun you can have for $15...
