You should just order an air induction from kurtz kustoms motorsports. It's like 85.00 comes with maf adapter and a filter that can be recharged like a knn? It's filter is not as good as the KNN filter, but it works fine for me and i'm happy with my setup.

Changing to a K&N is not only the easiest modification you'll ever do, but its also completely and easily reversable. You don't HAVE to build a heatsheild, although it will help if you're sitting in city traffic on a hot day.

At the very least, get the MAF adapter and K&N, it'll make the car sound really sweet.

KKM is, well, ok. For about the same price, you can get the K&N and MAF adapter and you don't ever have to worry about it imploding. Also, IIRC the flow characteristics of the K&N are much better than the KKM

The install is very easy and the milage isn't really a factor. Order the stuff and get to installin'.

Gearhead,
Since our last discusions about your filter setup I noticed that the ru-3530 has a flange dia. of 95mm and the standard MAF adapters are 85mm. is this a problem since the adapters are 10mm smaller?
