I never once said what he did was right, or even that it wasn't a big mistake. Don't put words into my mouth, thats not right.
The guy is taking it pretty bad, and while it is VERY serious, there's no sense to keep beating the guy when he's already down. That doesnt help anything.
I'm certainly not trying to trivialize this whole situation.
