Have I called names here? Yes. Entirely in response though. As I said above, sometimes the conversation turns to name calling when excellent points are made that cannot be responded to or there are questions that someone does not want to answer (like you, above).
I like how most people call holding an opinion "arrogance" and "not wanting to see both sides of the issues". I call it having an opinion. Do I often say things and insist that I am right? You bet -- because I believe in what I say. If you think I'm being ignorant by not consulting you before I form an opinion, then yes, I am ignorant. But most would consider that having core beliefs.
