What's the point of mentioning anything? You are so solidly set in your partisan beliefs that nothing anyone says will change your opinion. You've already made up your mind before someone speaks on partisan political issues. As I've said before this is exactly why I don't claim a party. I see good things and bad on both sides of the fence and I keep an open mind about politics. Hardcore partisans refuse to ever see the other sides because they are too caught up in ragging on the other party.

Why do you think that pretty much every political thread on these boards ends up with people resorting to insults upon each other at some point?
