Easy...the dems are united in Bush hatred but pretty much find Kerry useless.

A 3rd party vote is a vote to change to a 3+ party system..which I support. The more votes in that column this time, the better the odds for a REAL 3rd candidate next time 'round.

i still don't understand why people vote for 3rd party candidates with no chance of winning...especially in this election. i guess voting just to vote is good but it still doesn't make a lot of sense when this election is expected to be as close as 2000 and there's a pretty good difference between the top two candidates.

Well, the main reason is the desire to support the push for a major third party, which will only happen if we the party gets more and more votes and better and better elected positions (which the Libertarians have been doing very well at the last couple elections).

But I also don't believe in not voting, and I don't like either choice enough to vote one way or the other, and I don't dislike either of them enough to keep one out or the other in.

So I shall cast a Libertarian vote and vote for Badnarik. I would have preferred Nolan, but he didn't win the primaries (I was probably one of the few in the nation to actually watch the entire thing), so I shall vote for Badnarik to support the Libertarian Party knowing full-well that he won't win (nor would I particularly want him to)

Everytime I hear someone say, "I'm voting for Kerry because he's not Bush" or because "he's the lesser of two evils" I want to kick them square in the nuts. I know Badnarik doesn't have a chance of winning, and that 98 percent of the people voting have never even hear of his name, but I like a lot of his ideas, and the more people that give support to third-party candidates now, the better chance they're going to have in the future. Bush is an [censored], and Kerry is just as bad. Like either of those blue bloods actually give a f*ck about the American people. Don't be afraid to vote for someone who is going to lose. Lots of people voted for the loser in 2000 and he ended up becoming president.

Did anyone check out the Peace and Freedom Party's nominations? At first I thought it was a joke, Leonard Peltier, their presidential nominee, is convicted of "two counts of first degree murder for aiding and abetting the 1975 killing of two FBI Agents, 1977. Sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in federal prison". This man should be executed! - Along with anyone who would vote for him.

very true. however if there was a 3rd party candidate with a worthy agenda AND a chance of winning then they'd deserve my vote. personally i don't believe bush can lead this country better than kerry will for the next 4 years.

the way i see it either we put kerry in now or we have to deal with hillary in 2008.
